Tony Benitez

Tony Benitez was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He was immersed into the counterculture scene of Hip-Hop surrounded by hip-hop lyrists, DJ’s and graffiti artists. He became active in collecting and making music with local Hip-Hop acts throughout his youth. Aside from making music, Tony took great interest in graphics arts and photography. Upon graduating high school, he entered the military, followed by earning his Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Art, with an emphasis in Audio Recording from CSU Dominguez Hills.

Tony currently engineers and produces various genres and musical acts with an emphasis in Indie Rock and Hip-Hop, experimenting and fusing the two genres. He is also expanding to combine audio and visual effects to fully attack audiences’ senses by incorporating motion graphics, photography, and cinematic HD video with music. Tony also hosts two online radio shows, ScatterBrain (Indie Rock/Dance/Electronic, etc.) and The Mefisto Show (Underground Hip-hop).

No task is too difficult for Tony. A modern day Renaissance man in the industry, adapting to any situation with exceptional results.
